TEPA Service Practice Policies:
(Effective as of 2020)

These policies replace the prior rules and policies of the Association and deal with matters such as:

  • Deposit Requirements for new or reconnected accounts

  • Use of Credit Rating for determining deposits

  • Connection Policies

  • Disconnect Policies

  • Reconnection Policies

  • Billing Details

  • Late Notices and Late fees

  • Member Communication Methods

  • Extreme Weather Conditions affecting disconnection

  • Medical Hardship affecting disconnection

  • And other electric service topics

This notification is being supplied to all of TEPA's Residential accounts as well as all small General Power Accounts (non-residential accounts with electric loads 50 kW and less). All General Power Accounts greater than 50 kW have previously received more detailed separate communication earlier in the year regarding these changes and this notification does not require any additional action from such General Power Accounts.
